Artist A Day

The artist I chose after browsing Artist A Day for literally two minutes is one Steve Payne from the United Kingdom. The first few pictures I browsed through were good, but nothing really caught my interest. However, this changed when I saw a Napoleon'esque portrait of what seemed to be Bill Murray.

Figuring that It was just a resemblance, I clicked on the picture to find that it actually was Bill Murray as Napoleon. Greater still was the next picture, which was an English portrait of Charlie Sheen. The best thing was was the little detail on Sheen, a small red ribbon on his arm that reads, "WINNING". I knew right then that this was my artist of choice.  Payne didn't actually draw these, instead he used Photoshop to superimpose the faces of the two onto old artwork.

It took me a few moments to realize that Bill Murray wasn't actually drawn onto the photo, as the wrinkles seemed to match the style of the artwork and to me actually fit in.

Introduction to stuff

BACKGROUND
I was born a number of years ago in Torrance. My dad sells tires and my mom gets other people jobs. I have three siblings, two of them are step-siblings. All of them are cheerleaders.
CAREER GOALS
I have absolutely no career goals whatsoever other than getting a job that pays enough to afford a house, a car that doesn't suck, and to not die.
WHY DID I TAKE THIS CLASS
I decided to take this class because I'm terrible at physical artwork so I thought I would try myself at digital art.
